We accept returns for any reason
At Compuparts Solutions, we understand that sourcing the right part isn't always straightforward. You may have ordered the wrong part, the part may not have resolved your issue, or you may simply no longer need it. We accept all returns — no questions asked — as long as the conditions below are met.
All returns must be requested and authorized before shipping the item back to us. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to sender at the customer's expense.
What you get — and when
Your return outcome depends on when you initiate the return relative to your purchase date.
* Return window is calculated from the original purchase date shown on your invoice. Parts returned after 90 days from purchase will not be accepted.
Conditions for an accepted return
To qualify for a return, all of the following must apply:
- ✓ Returned within 90 days of the original purchase date shown on your invoice.
- ✓ Original serial label is intact and unaltered. Every part shipped by Compuparts Solutions carries a tamper-evident serial label. This label must be present and undamaged on return.
- ✓ Part is in original, unmodified condition — unused or tested only, with no physical alterations, burns, bent pins, or modifications of any kind.
- ✓ No physical abuse or damage. Parts showing signs of impact, drops, liquid exposure, or forced installation will not be accepted.
- ✓ Original packaging included — returned in the same packaging materials it was received in, including any anti-static bags, foam inserts, or protective wrapping.
- ✓ RMA number obtained prior to shipping. A Return Merchandise Authorization number must be included with the package.
- The serial label has been removed, tampered with, or shows signs of attempted removal
- The part shows physical abuse — cracks, bends, burns, liquid damage, or forced-installation marks
- The part has been modified, soldered, or altered in any way
- More than 90 days have passed since the purchase date
- No RMA number was obtained before shipping
- The item is received without its original packaging materials
Who covers the shipping cost?
Return shipping responsibility depends on the reason for return.
We recommend shipping all returns with a trackable carrier. Compuparts Solutions is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit on customer-arranged return shipments.
